As an Owlfolk, Orrin possesses keen senses and the ability to fly silently through the night, making him a master of stealth and reconnaissance. His name, Gearbeak, comes from his unique talent for crafting intricate tools and traps, which he uses to outsmart both prey and foes alike.

Orrin has spent his life patrolling the borders of the Twilight Highlands, keeping them safe from encroaching dangers. He is known for his unerring aim with a bow and his deep connection to the natural world. Though he is often solitary in his duties, Orrin is fiercely loyal to his kin and will not hesitate to come to their aid when needed. His knowledge of the land and his skills as a ranger make him a formidable guardian of the wild.
